So my reason for the Chai Tea post is for those of you fighting inflammation like I am ! :)

Who drinks chai tea ?
Chai is India’s most popular drink ! And for good reason...
Chai is made from some of the most medicinally active herbs around that makes a flavorful, spicy, potent tea .
You can drink it hot or cold !
How to make your own chai tea !
-It's really easy ...All you need to do is simmer the tea & spices for 10 minutes, add your choice of a milk & then sweeten with a good-REAL raw honey.... Try using sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, brown sugar, coconut sugar, palm sugar or stevia...But you can use cane sugar if you choose...If you can't use dairy, just use water, almond or coconut milk, cashew milk, hazelnut milk, hemp milk etc....If you would like to make fresh Chai use the recipe below or you can buy it premixed from the store ! But fresh is sensational ! This is the common chai recipe used by many !
3 cups of water
2 tea bags black tea
1 cinnamon stick Ceylon cinnamon is best )
2 tablespoons grated, fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon each whole clove
8 cardamom pods
1/2 -1 tsp vanilla extract -optional
-a little black pepper / 5 whole black peppercorns -optional
Sweeten to taste with raw honey
1 cup milk or almond milk, full-fat coconut milk, hazelnut milk, hemp or cashew milk etc...
OR
Chai tea you can also make it this way.... 1 tsp sugar or 1/4 tsp honey, 1 tsp cardamom seeds, 3 cups milk, 5 cup water, 10 cloves, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. (this of course makes a bigger amount )
Chai is the Indian word for "tea"
Chai tea contains caffeine. (You can use green tea instead)
Simmer the spices in the water for 10 minutes. Add you type of milk you use and your choice of sweetener. Strain the spices from the tea before serving.
Three Cups of Tea a Day
Chai Tea is a powerful blend of tea, herbs and spices....Chai Tea is made of a combination of spices and tea, the probably most common blend uses black tea and a blend of black pepper, clove, cardamom, ginger, vanilla extract and fennel.
Studies show that there are anti-inflammatory effects of ...clove-clove is a herb (Cloves are rich in antimicrobial properties & pain relief ) (Ceylon cinnamon is best ) (aid in digestion) (Clove oils must be DILUTED (crushed, whole, clove oil) can help reduce inflammation in the body and so can cinnamon and ginger....ginger suppresses inflammatory molecules..(coriander seed oil and black cumin oil also reduce inflammation...)
Chai tea is best consumed after a meal.....Chai Tea has some really good spices that have evidence
of anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-tumor effects...
Chai Tea may also be helpful for many other things because of the great spices benefits !
Things like digestion, colds, balances blood sugar,circulation,immunity,detoxifying etc...
